Protect New Jerseyans from AI Exploitation

Artificial intelligence is advancing faster than the laws meant to protect us. AI tools can now create realistic fake images, videos, and voices in seconds, opening the door to new forms of exploitation, harassment, fraud, and abuse. New Jersey lawmakers have introduced three bills (A5088, A5089, and A5090) that would protect people from unauthorized AI deepfakes, require transparency and labeling of AI-generated content, and hold Big Tech companies accountable when they fail to take reasonable steps to prevent their technology from facilitating serious crimes, including child sexual exploitation, extortion, and fraud. Big Tech cannot be allowed to profit from powerful AI systems while leaving everyday people and families to deal with the consequences. Tell your New Jersey legislators to support all three bills and demand stronger protections, greater transparency, and real accountability for AI companies.
